Ian Hamilton - Soft Landings
Last year, after 10+ years of competing in Slopestyle, I switched my focus to backcountry jumping. It turned out to be a good choice. By the end of January it had snowed 300 inches in Utah and all the classic hits in Little Cottonwood Canyon were good to go. It was an unbelievable season, from sessions on Pyramid and Flagstaff gap, Catskiing at Fernie Wilderness Adventures to pondskimming and partying at Lost Trail Powder Mountain in the spring. I had more great times in the mountains with amazing humans than any other season and they're memories I'll never forget. Hope ya'll dig it and get stoked to shred!! Ian Hamilton Undiscovered REEL
I was lucky enough to win the Poor Boyz Productions Undiscovered video contest last season and got to go to Chile in August with an incredible group of people. Here are the highlights of my time there. Huge thanks to Rocanegra Lodge, Valle Nevado, and everyone who made the trip one of a kind.
Budhies Episode 3: You Require a Skill
The yearly migration to Aspen Open in February was epic as always, complete with rain, sun, big jumps and old friends. We had a blast shredding the course, eating pizza, and basking in the hotsprings. Thanks to Roxa Boots, Ltd. Optics, Pret Helmets, Char Poles and Urbanstar Jeans.
Budhies Episode Four - Future Springing
We had some new tricks to stomp so we headed to West Coast Session 10 and Whistler Blackcomb for a couple weeks to see what we could get done. We sessioned a monster booter at Timberline and met up with our Budhies Simon d'Artois and Sandy Boville for some Black Park laps in Whistler. We got some epic days in and most importantly had some serious fun. Thanks to Vince Emond for helping film and to the sponsors for making this project possible.
